Winner and 5 Thanks: November

First off, congrats to comment #15, EDI, on winning the WallBling giveaway. :)

Now, let's just be honest, November was super busy, a little stressful, and kinda exhausting. Yet, there are always good things to be seen if you are willing to look hard enough.
And now I feel like Yoda.
Alright, before you up and decide you'd rather not read a blog written by a crazy person,
how about I just go ahead and share my five thanks for November? Will that work for you?

1. NO Zip Code This Year

This was me this time last year. Remember??? I felt like I had my own zip code. Well, this month I have been thankful that I no longer feel like I've swallowed a basketball. And while I LOVE my Hollybell and wouldn't trade her for a single thing in this world or any other, I also LOVE that I get to enjoy the holidays this year with her OUTside of my belly as opposed to INside of my belly.

I mean, can you blame me? Not only am I no longer toting around eighteen pounds o'baby,
but she's so darn cute.

2. It's not the beach....

Take a look at this. This happens to be about four miles from my house at a local state park. And while it's not the beach, I have found that going here every now and then is good for my soul, and I'm thankful to leave somewhere so close to something so peaceful.

3. My Sounding Board

Bloggers, remember my friend Rebecca????

Well, even though she has a ton going on in her life right now, she has made lots of time for me this month.
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate her honesty and patience.
I love, love, love this girl and could not possibly be more thankful for her.

4. My Friends and the Funny Things They Say

Bloggers, meet my Michelle, or Michi, as I like to call her.
We've been friends since college, and although we don't talk nearly as often as we should, I am crazy 'bout this one.

Well, this week I got a message from her on facebook.
Here's what went down:

Michelle: are you ignoring me? if so, i will cut you :)

Me: No, I promise I'm not. Things are just really stressful right now, and I've been sick. Tomorrow????

Michelle: Doesn't matter when! Just glad I don't have to cut you anymore ;)

It's ok to be jealous. My friends really are the coolest.

5. The Bloggy Blog

So, I know I've said this before, but I love blogging. I have been introduced to so many awesome ladies via the blog. I've also scored a ton of super cute free stuff. Just because I can't enter my own giveaways doesn't mean I can't enter other giveaways, which I often do. And sometimes I even win.
Check out these super cute letters I won from a fabulous blog that you can check out here.

This blogger is so crafty and so cute. The giveaway was supposed to be for one initial, but she instead sent one for each of my girls. Super sweet, right?
Add it to the list of reasons why blogging is high on my list of things I love to do.

And now, you know I'm gonna ask:
what are YOU thankful this month???

Maybe it's my giveaways. That would make sense.
Well, in case you didn't know, I have two going on right now and another one starting tomorrow.
You can check out my two current giveaways by going here
and here (this one ends tonight at midnight, by the way).

Happy Thursday to you and yours. Come back soon, mkay?
And feel to comment...I'm thankful for those too.

  2. I forgot to put what I'm thankful for...

My family. Husband, Son, Daughter, Mother, Father, Sisters, Brother-in-laws, nephews, nieces. And how healthy and kind every single one is.
I'm also thankful for my church. I have made some wonderful connections with amazing, strong women by joining some small groups affiliated with my church.
